Judging

Following the nomination stage, all categories except those with * will be shortlisted and then put to a public vote.

The Customer Service Award finalists will also be mystery shopped by the judging panel.

 


Amanda Phillips, Centre Manager, The Moor

Amanda has over 30 years retail management experience working for leading brands and shopping centres throughout England. She has taken on high profile places such as Covent Garden Piazza and has also become known for developing shopping centres that require change. She has been part of the improving fortunes of centres in regional areas such as Chesterfield, Leicester and Redditch.

Amanda ran the desirable Castle Mall Centre in Norwich before joining The Moor in 2017, excited by the ongoing challenge of the ambitious redevelopment and regeneration being undertaken by Aberdeen Standard Investments. Two plus years on The Moor has a united retailer community run by Amanda’s strong management team and are looking forward to continuing to welcome new retail and leisure in the coming year, hard on the heels of recent new major names joining The Moor such as Next, New Look and Skechers.

 


Dale Robinson, Director of Business Development The Source

Dale Robinson is Director of Business Development at The Source Skills Academy, overseeing the Business Development and Marketing teams, and has been with The Source since 2010.

Dale uses his experience and knowledge in Retail, Banking, Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing to support the Governments local and National Apprenticeship priorities supporting The Sources move to delivering the new Apprenticeship standards to businesses nationwide.

Dale has been actively involved in a number of successful Government funded training projects such as the Enhancement Fund and Skills Bank which has seen the successful delivery of training to over 5000 people via The Source locally during the past two years.

 


Richard Eyre, Head of Centre Management, Major Events & Markets,  Sheffield City Council

Head of service for City Centre, CCTV, Markets & Events teams. Responsible for the day to day and strategic management of Sheffield City Centre for the past 11 years, the CCTV service for the past 5 years and the City Major Events Service for the past 4 years.
Also now leading the Markets Service to recover and develop its future business plan.

 

 


Diane Jarvis, Manager, Sheffield BID

Diane is the face of the Sheffield BID providing additional or improved services identified and requested by local businesses. She focuses on business engagement (with both local contacts and national teams), partnership working with stakeholders and access to funding and is also responsible for the operational and financial performance of Sheffield BID in response to the BID’s strategic business plan.

Diane works regionally and nationally with other BIDs and industry bodies to ensure Sheffield is part of relevant conversations as we tackle some challenging times ahead.

 

 


Victoria Holloway, Marketing and Communications Director, Queensberry  

Victoria is a highly experienced marketing director. Working on key Queensberry projects throughout the UK she is a strategist with global marketing experience in consumer electronics (Panasonic), financial services (RBS) and destination marketing (Queensberry and Welsh Government).

In her current role she works with the public and private sectors to devise, lead and implement strategic campaigns from concept to completion often on very short timescales through to 7 year projects. The role is varied and covers strategic planning, budget management, branding, destination marketing, Business to Business marketing supporting the leasing team with collateral, events and marketing support as well as Business to Consumer marketing.

 


Ashley Inman, Business Manager The Light, Sheffield

Originally from Brinsworth, in Rotherham, Ashley oversees the day-to-day running of The Light cinema. He brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked for large companies across Yorkshire as well as in Wales, Manchester and Solihull.

He studied Hotel Catering at Sheffield Hallam University before going on to work for brands such as Nandos, Chiquitos, RSVP and Casa. He’s managed premium bars and restaurants and brings extensive experience in business development and customer relations.

The Light cinema now welcomed 460,000 guests over the past year and were winners of Social Sheffield’s best cinema by a public vote.

Ashley is passionate about delivering great customer service, to supporting local businesses and communities and aims for The Light to as inclusive as possible.
