The Moor, Aberdeen Standard Investments

Aberdeen Standard Investments is the asset management business of Standard Life Aberdeen plc, one of the world’s largest investment companies and has invested over £120m to date in the redevelopment and regeneration of The Moor in Sheffield. Since 2016 major retailers such as Primark, GAP Outlet, Specsavers and JD Sports have added to the growing retail attractions alongside leisure operators such as Light Cinema recording 460,000 visitors in the last year. In recent months Claire’s Accessories, a new two floor Next, Sketchers – the first in Sheffield city centre and New Look have opened.

The new digi screen above H&M will be fully operational by September and the Autumn will also bring the opening of H&M and a new bowling experience; Lane7, with more to be announced.

This alongside improved public realm and a series of quality free events has meant there has been a massive increase in the recorded annual visitor total for The Moor currently at 13.3 million, representing an increase of over 21% in the last year.
